College Sector and Creative Industries Networking Event, Dundee

You are cordially invited to attend a college/industry networking event hosted by Thorntons Solicitors, where you will have the opportunity to meet friends and colleagues in the dramatic setting of RRS Discovery, Dundee.

There will be an opportunity to hear about the work that is being done to ensure that Scotland’s colleges are teaching the skills that are needed for the steadily growing and potentially huge Creative Industries in Scotland. There will also be a chance to hear from some of those industries about their work and their needs for the future.

There will be short presentations from Grant Ritchie of Dundee College, from David McCall of the Faculty of Arts at Perth College, from Soma Recordings and Scott Donaldson, Education Projects Manager at Scottish Screen. There will then be a chance to exchange ideas, thoughts, and contact details, over a glass of wine.

Whether your college teaches the creative arts or not, this will be an opportunity to hear how colleges and industry can work together with great success, and will be of interest to you.
