Starting off as three seperate businesses, the company fused to form one company in 2004 and has subsequently moved into new offices in Argyll House. Fly on the Wire continues to go from strength to strength and has gained two prestigious awards: The Euan Lambert Memorial Prize, which recognises outstanding performance in entrepreneurship and the SIE 'Runner up Business Award'. The firm can now name organisations such as SEPA (Scottish Environmental Protection Agency) and 'Dare to be Digital' amongst its clients.

With a strong compliment of skills, the team at Fly on the Wire consist of Euan Johnstone, who studied philosophy before moving on to a computer course at the University of St Andrews, Anique Luehring who is from a marketing background, and Chris Gibson, the team's programmer, has had a long career in the civil service. Euan Johnstone comments "It's good to have that range of experience. Some are more creative and others more technical. We do very much have our own roles".

As much of Fly on the Wire's early work has been for public and educational institutions, the comany has realised the importance of accesible website - ensuring ease of use by the maximum number of users including those with disabilities. Fly on the Wire now has a firm commitment to accessible web design and the creation of solutions that work for its clients.

The team's professional but friendly approach and varied but wholly complimentary skillset has left a trail of satisifed clients. "We like our clients to ensure a friendly environment for customers so that clients don't feel left out of the process and ultimately end up getting the service that they require," says Euan.

With a diverse range of clients from nightclubs to public bodies, magazines to golfing products, simple brochure sites to full e-commerce solutions, Fly on the Wire has consistently met and thrived on the challenges that this varied customer base has brought.
